The Port Rica-Pop Buscabulla Law is entering a new era. Almost five years after the launch of your acclaimed by critics The debut album, “returns”, the duo has announced an upcoming American tour and a new album.
On Tuesday, Busbulla dropped a Teaser trailer For the second year album “he loved himself.” The 52 -second clip shows two playful dogs to fader in the side profiles of the married couple Luis Alfredo del Valle and Raquel Berrios, who met in 2011 and then formed Buscabulla. Appearing towards the end of the clip is the phrase “loved itself” and a separation note that says: “soon.”
Busabulla also announced his American tour of the same name. The tour will begin in Miami on June 19 and includes a stop in Los Angeles, where the band will perform at Belasco on July 3.
“You have a purpose and you have to fulfill it,” said main singer Berrios in a recent press release. “That's what this new era is about.”
Known for its experimental rhythms and tropical rhythms, the band made waves with their Debut 2020, “Return.” A mixture of whispering sauce, R&B and Trippy Pop, the album related the complicated return of the duo to Puerto Rico from New York after the devastation of Hurricane Maria. The album was named one of the NPR 50 best 2020 albums for its “complex and changing ideas of the home”, and the “soft and sweetly accessible voices” of Berrios.
Busbulla's last launch was a Angel single inspired by the number entitled “11:11”, which came out in June 2024. The band previously collaborated with the creator of successes Bad Bunny in the 2022 “Andrea” song, a disturbing ballad of its historical album “A summer without you” that addresses misogyny and Violence of the intimate couple.
