To the editor: What then happened to the “originalist” Supreme Court jurists who attempt to probe the minds of the Founders to determine their original intent? Could they believe that our Founding Fathers intended to create a presidency whose occupant was not accountable to the laws that govern the people over whom he presides? Had not our founders freed themselves from the shackles of a monarch who ruled without such accountability?
If so-called “originalists” don’t hear the Founding Fathers turning in their graves, they are either deaf or never believed in their theory. United States of America: Democracy or Hypocracy? I think we know the answer.

To the editor: Perhaps one response to last week’s Supreme Court immunity decision and Trump’s continued rallies is to ridicule him and his campaign. Just take the Project 2025 plan and stick it on him, along with a paper crown and a wooden scepter. Publicize it widely. Maybe enough voters will realize how horrific this all is.
