to the editor: I appreciated the article on “forest bathing” (“People 'bathe' in nature to get a break from the chaotic news cycle,” April 14). Nature is anything that has not been created by man and we do not have to travel or be in a forest to take advantage of its benefits. Backyards, small parks, and walks around the neighborhood give us many opportunities to open our eyes and hearts to nature and the beauty that always surrounds us, as simple as the breeze, trees, flowers, birds, or insects.
Turn off your phone and leave your headphones and your worries behind, even if just for a little while.
