Renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Mark Solomos has revealed the many reasons behind Zac Efron's face change, the actor who rose to fame thanks to a teen drama. High School Musical.
In an interview with Online mailThe surgeon shared that he collected 20 photographs of the actor over 20 years to show the drastic development of his chiseled jaw.
Speaking about Efron's youthful features, plastic surgeon Dr Mark Solomos told the publication: 'As a child, Efron appeared to have a more oval-shaped face, a combination of square and round.
To conclude all his thoughts on Efron's changing features, Dr. Mark Solomos said, “I think they've reversed or removed it as the jawline that we can see has lost its angular shape and the face is more rounded.”
“It's also worth noting that Efron's weight and body shape have changed many times over the years to accommodate various roles – weight loss/gain, diets, etc. will also have an impact on the face – naturally, if there's more weight on a face, it will also look softer and rounder.”
Efron has been in the spotlight since his film A family affair released, fueling cosmetic surgery rumors about his seemingly ever-changing jawline.
However, the 36-year-old actor claimed that his change in appearance is a result of a near-death accident that occurred in 2013.
