Phoebe Bridgers Announces Phone-Free Tour, Intuit Dome Concerts

Start sending “smoke signals.” Phoebe Bridgers has finally announced her upcoming phone-free tour, which includes two spooky nights in the Los Angeles area.

Bridgers shared details about tthe lost tour on Friday morning, following a sold-out concert the night before at Madison Square Garden in New York City and a series of secret pop-up shows across the United States.

The tour will kick off in Indianapolis in September and will culminate the North American tour with back-to-back shows at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood on October 30 and 31, appropriate dates for the skeleton-suit-wearing singer-songwriter. A European stage will follow in November.

All tickets to Bridgers' surprise acoustic show at Madison Square Garden were sold for $20 or less, and proceeds were donated to Community Justice Exchange's Immigration Bond Freedom Fund, which provides bail support to ICE detainees. For the Lost Tour, Bridgers will donate $1 from every North American concert ticket sold to RAINN, the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization and operator of the National Sexual Assault Hotline.

A phone ban was also instituted at the MSG show and at Bridgers' previous pop-up sets, with attendees storing their devices in Yondr bags, which are physically locked using magnets. The same policy will be in effect during the next tour.

To the Intuit Dome, home of the Los Angeles ClippersGuests may not need their phones to access tickets or purchase concessions as the stadium is equipped with “GameFace ID” facial recognition technology.

The Lost Tour is Bridgers' first solo tour with a full band since the Reunion Tour, in support of his 2020 album “Punisher,” completed in April 2023, although he has since toured as a member of the supergroup Boygenius. His debut album with Boygenius, “The Record,” was released in 2023.

Although he premiered eight new songs on Thursday's MSG show, he has yet to announce a new album.

Singer-songwriter Alex G will provide support on the North American leg of the tour, including the Inglewood dates, while former Black Country frontman New Road Isaac Wood will provide support in Europe. The eerie tour images were created in collaboration with fine art photographer Gregory Crewdson.

In an effort to put tickets into the hands of fans, rather than resellers or robots, there will be two days of pre-sale before general sale. Fans can register between now and midnight Sunday to enter the Day 1 pre-sale lottery taking place on Tuesday. There will be another pre-sale on Wednesday. Tickets go on sale to the general public on June 12.

Bridgers last played in Los Angeles as part of a secret show at all-ages venue The Smell in February 2024, where Boygenius announced their hiatus.

In addition to touring, Bridgers has a role in the upcoming A24 film “Primetime,” directed by Lance Oppenheim, which hits theaters in September.

Bridgers, who grew up in Pasadena and attended Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, he told the Times in 2022 that his musical taste was determined in part by his upbringing in Los Angeles, where he attended both massive music festivals and local Day of the Dead celebrations.

“I learned that there can be fun in the dark,” he said.
