Kate Middleton and Prince William 'aware' of their future roles as King and Queen

Kate Middleton and Prince William are undoubtedly aware of their future roles as King and Queen as King Charles continues his own cancer treatment.

This has been reported by Hello magazine as Kate and William will spend more time together this year.

The outlet, citing royal experts, reported that Kate Middleton will soon return to her husband's side as the couple takes on a more prominent role on the world stage.

Royal expert Robert Jobson said Hello, “Last year was a banner year and William took on a solo global statesman role, but going forward, I think Catherine will spend more time at his side.”

The royal expert continued that Kate and William will be “mindful” of their children's upbringing and will make sure they “are there if something crucial happens, but there will be situations where they will have to put country and duty before their children.”

Jobson also predicted Kate and William's state visit once Donald Trump takes office.

He said: “Once Trump becomes president, there will be another state visit, and William and Catherine will play a key role, just as the King did last time, when the late Queen was alive. “This is all part of what William becomes a world figure.”
