Saudi Arabian Airlines' three retired Boeing 777 aircraft have caught people's attention for their road trip from Jeddah to Riyadh, as viewers widely shared the journey through deserts and mountains on social media platforms, the report said. Al Arabiya.

It is worth noting that the Boeing aircraft traveled about 1,000 kilometers from Jeddah Airport to Riyadh on large trucks. It will be displayed in the Boulevard Runway area of ​​Riyadh's 2024 season. After dismantling their wings, fuselages and other functional components, the aircraft bodies offered fascinating scenes while being transported by road.

On social media, people across the country have been sharing the plane ride with posts of Saudis wearing traditional attire and waving the national flag as they pose with the planes.

Families also gathered to watch the planes take off, and children dressed in green shirts and caps waved small planes in their hands.

The head of Saudi Arabia's General Authority for Entertainment, Turki al-Sheikh, announced a contest for Saudis to take the best photo of the plane en route to Riyadh. A prize of luxury cars was also promised.

As the plane challenge continues to gain momentum, Al Sheikh has been posting photos of people.

Featuring nearly 13 interactive events, including games and unique aviation experiences for all age groups, the three aircraft will be transformed into shops and restaurants.
