“I hope my face goes back to how it used to be.” Ali Mushtaha, an 11-year-old Palestinian boy, was injured in an Israeli attack on his family’s home in Gaza that left his face burned and disfigured. He says seeing his face, now unrecognizable, makes him cry. 12 of his relatives died in the attack. His wish is to one day meet the goalkeeper of the Egyptian football club Al Ahly FC, Mohamed El Shenawy.
