A man in India, who was bitten by a snake, bit the reptile twice and eventually killed it. Hindustan Times reported.

The incident took place in Bihar, India, where a railway employee, Santosh Lohar, was bitten by a snake, who then bit the snake thinking that this would reverse the effect of the venom.

The snake died after being bitten by Santosh while he was being taken to a hospital, where he survived after receiving adequate medical treatment. He was discharged the next day.

Santosh, 35, was part of a team laying railway tracks in a densely forested area of ​​Rajauli and was bitten by a snake while he was lying down to sleep.

The railroad worker, without thinking twice, grabbed the snake and bit it twice, believing the local myth that biting the reptile would save the bitten person.
