A plane crashed at Toronto Pearson's International Airport on Monday, turning when it landed, said CBC Television, citing local police officers.
CBC and CP24 television reported that eight people were injured.
Pearson de Toronto airport said it was aware of an incident that involved a Delta Air Lines plane that came from Minneapolis and that emergency teams were responding.
All passengers and crew were counted, said the airport in a statement on X.
Delta's representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comments.
“There is a plane crash. However, we do not know the circumstances that surround it at this point,” said Agent Sarah Patten of the Peel Regional Police in Ontario.
“I understand that most passengers are out and unharmed, but we are still trying to make sure, so we are still on stage,” Patten said.
