Conspiracy theorists believe the Swift-Kelce relationship was orchestrated to win the Super Bowl and the liberal elections.
Former US President Donald Trump hopes Taylor Swift will be “loyal” to him in the next election, not because of her politics but because of the money she made him. The US Sun reported.
In a post on Truth Social, the 77-year-old Republican presidential candidate said he would be if the 34-year-old pop star supported current President Joe Biden.
“There is no way she can support corrupt Joe Biden, the worst and most corrupt president in the history of our country, and be disloyal to the man who made her so much money,” Trump wrote.
He claimed that he helped Swift make money by enacting legislation that aimed to provide artists with more equitable compensation.
“I signed and was responsible for the Music Modernization Act for Tayler Swift and all other musical artists. Joe Biden did nothing for Taylor, and never will,” Trump wrote.
The Music Modernization Act was signed into law during the Trump presidency in 2018.
The former president also said he liked Swift's boyfriend, Travis Kelce, a star player in the National Football League (NFL) whose team, the Kansas City Chiefs, won the Super Bowl today.
“Besides that, I like her boyfriend, Travis, although he may be liberal and probably can't stand me.” He finished the post.
Rumors about the power couple's influence on both the Super Bowl and this year's presidential election have been circulating since the two became a topic late last year.
This is not the first time Trump has attacked Swift and her large following in the past.
According Rolling StoneTrump's campaign is preparing for a “holy war” against the pop icon, who is expected to endorse Biden and set out to discredit his views.
For some conspiracy theorists, Swift and Kelce's entire relationship was concocted as part of a ploy to win the Super Bowl and later the liberal elections.
While Kelce has never publicly endorsed a political candidate, the tight end has major endorsement deals with Bud Light and Pfizer, two companies that dealt with significant controversies from right-wing audiences.
Swift endorsed Biden when he ran for the White House in 2020 against then-President Donald Trump. The two men are expected to face each other again this year in November.
