Despite the best efforts of Marvel's security team, it's becoming a near-impossible job to prevent hungry Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) fans from posting all sorts of behind-the-scenes (BTS) images and videos from the real world of the Disney Plus program. place. In fact, given Daredevil: Born Again Taking place in New York City, Marvel is currently filming the R-rated superhero show on location, one that will give it a genuine level of authenticity but which hasn't stopped MCU fans from leaking stills and images of BTS while principal photography is in progress.

As confirmed by the X/Twitter video above, Matt Murdock/Daredevil will be *ahem* taking on Bullseye, one of his most dangerous adversaries, in born again. Real name Benjamin Pointdexter, Bullseye made his live-action debut in Reckless Season 3 ended on Netflix, with Wilson Bethel playing the deranged sniper who poses as Daredevil for much of that season.
Initially, Bethel's Bullseye was not scheduled to return in born again – which is, frankly, Reckless season 4 in all but the name at this point. However, after Marvel's top brass ordered a complete revamp Daredevil: Born Again After its first batch of images did not meet expectations, the Disney subsidiary chose to link its Reckless The resurgence of television in the Netflix adaptation. That meant including Bethel's Bullseye into the equation, as well as confirming the return of two fan-favorite characters from the Netflix series. Reckless series in the form of Elden Henson's Foggy Nelson and Deborah Ann Woll's Karen Page.
As Murdock's two best friends and closest allies, it was a major oversight on Marvel's part not to include the duo in the first place, but I digress. It's the last of that pair, Woll's page, that has fans circling, with many fearing for her safety amid the likely frantic showdown between Daredevil and Bullseye currently filming.
In Daredevil Volume 2 #5, which was released in March 1999, Bullseye murders Page when he dives to intercept a baton thrown by the former at Daredevil. Page's death is one of the most shocking and important moments in Daredevil comic book history; some would even say its importance is on par with Gwen Stacy's death in the Spider-Man source material. The leaked images of born againSo, it could be the start of this high-impact plot point, which spells mortal danger for Page if that's the path Marvel goes down.
However, I would be dismayed if Marvel opted to bring in Nelson and Page only to kill off one or both of them. Sure, Page's death would be a heartbreaking piece of television, especially for fans of the original Daredevil comics and/or TV series. However, the narrative trope known as 'fridging' (in which a character is killed to provoke a furious reaction from the hero of a story) is tired and cliché.
Marvel has already received fierce criticism from some quarters for pulling similar stunts with Black Widow in Avengers Endgame and Maria Hill in secret invasionso you'd think the comic book giant would have learned from those experiences and not drawn more ire from fans wondering whether to continue their failing film giant.
Of course, the clash of Daredevil and Bullseye does not mean that Page and/or Nelson will perish in born again. Bethel could seriously injure one or both of them, sidelining them for much of the show and allowing Charlie Cox's titular vigilante to spend the rest of the season doing what he does best: fighting crime. Personally, I hope the leaked images are a misdirection on the character deaths front; otherwise Marvel will have a problem. batch of angry fans calling them out and then some.
