British fashion house Burberry presents its summer 2025 collection

British luxury fashion house Burberry presented its summer 2025 collection at the National Theatre, continuing its long-standing commitment to supporting the arts. Brutalist architecture complemented modernist works by Gary Hume, contrasting with the lightness of the collection.

Both Burberry and the National Theatre share support for young people through apprenticeship and community programmes, improving access to arts and training opportunities.

British luxury fashion house Burberry has unveiled its summer 2025 collection at the National Theatre, highlighting its commitment to the arts. The collection includes lightweight, cropped rainwear and deconstructed gabardine elements using silk poplin and linen. Key pieces include distressed fabrics, utilitarian cargo pants and vibrant long skirts.

Burberry’s summer 2025 collection embraces adventure with short raincoats and deconstructed trench coat elements in lightweight silk poplin and linen. The use of distressed materials reflects influences from the outdoors, with capes and parkas lined for protection. Fabrics are intentionally washed and bleached for a vintage look, while checks are incorporated into jackets, trousers and bags made from linen, cotton, silk viscose and chainmail, Burberry said in a press release.

The collection includes simple, relaxed trousers with adjustable buttons at the ankles and functional cargo pants. Long skirts in bright colours are enhanced with faux silk organza feather trims, while dresses are elegantly hand-stitched with metallic sequins in gold and lilac.

Men's jackets feature lightweight, three-layer fabric on checked coats. Polo shirt collars are tucked under fitted leather jackets, exuding a sleek, refined style that captures the lively British spirit.

Clogs are sturdy, while men’s loafers offer a softer construction. Feminine touches are seen in the open-toe mules and the Twine heel. Bags, including the Country style with Burberry Check in grained leather and the B Clip in tumbled leather and suede, are inspired by the great outdoors. The collection features cheerful colours such as palm, green, carrot, bluebell and lilac, complemented by neutral shades of whittle, eccle, terracotta and skylark.
