Center Boban Marjanovic has agreed to terms with Euroleague side Fenerbahce after spending the past nine seasons in the NBA, sources confirmed to ESPN.
Marjanovic's deal was first reported by Eurohoops.net. The contract includes a buyout clause if he is given the opportunity to return to the NBA, a source said.
The 7-foot-2 Marjanovic played for six teams in his nine NBA seasons, including the last two with the Houston Rockets. He averaged 5.5 points and 3.6 rebounds per game for his career.
Marjanovic, 36, from Serbia, became a beloved figure for his sociable personality. He appeared in multiple national advertising campaigns, a rarity for a reserve player.
Marjanovic played professionally for several years in Europe before beginning his NBA career with the San Antonio Spurs in 2015.
