Big “wine” [to my show] and she brought 20 guests. So she wanted 21 tickets. “We said, 'Okay,'” Peterson began. “She comes backstage and asks me if I can take pictures with all her friends and family she brought.”

Yesterday, Peterson posted a screenshot on Instagram of an article written about the conflict. Today, Grande expressed remorse for the interaction in the comments section, admitting that she doesn't remember it and that it could have been brought on by an anxiety attack.

“I'm really disheartened to see this. In fact, I don't even remember having the chance to meet you because I had an anxiety attack and as I remember, I left before the rest of my family (this was about 7 years ago and in (in “At that time I really wasn't good at being in public crowds or noisy places)… but if I don't remember this moment well, I sincerely apologize for offending you so much,” she wrote.

This isn't the first time Grande has been accused of diva behavior.

In May 2020, Grande appeared on Apple Music's “Zane Lowe Show” and spoke about how the media's narrative about her impacted her.

“I stopped doing interviews for a long time because I felt like every time I found myself in a position where someone tried to say something to click or twist my words or blah, blah, blah. I would defend myself and then people would criticize me. like , 'Oh, she's a diva.' And I was like, 'This doesn't make any sense.'”

Grande noted that women in her position are often talked about differently than men. “It makes you want to calm down a little bit. But I'm also trying to say, 'Fuck that.'”

“I'm tired of seeing women silenced by this. I think there is a thing where we hear something or [someone will be] like, 'Oh, she said this.' …It really suits you. And you feel like, 'Oh, wow, should I not express myself more or should I not have this fight that I want to have anymore? …Should I just say “OK” and leave it at that? “It kind of screws you up a little bit.”

Representatives for Grande and Peterson did not respond to Fox News Digital's immediate request for comment.
