Valerie Bertinelli is celebrating a new beginning.

On her Instagram page, the “One Day at a Time” star deleted all of her previous posts as of Monday and started from scratch.

Her first post on Wednesday was a close-up selfie with the caption: “Six months. No alcohol.”

She also tagged the Reframe app, an “app to cut down and quit drinking,” according to its page.

The only other post on her profile so far is a text quote attributed to Charles Dederich that reads: “Today is the first day of the rest of your life.”

In the title of that post, Bertinelli explained his new perspective on life.

“I've always been very good at berating myself for my past and how much I could have done better. I've become an expert at judging myself. Judge, jury and executioner,” she wrote.

“I don't want to do that anymore. I want to live a full and authentic life, with an open heart to experience everything. No more judgment. Accepting who I am, flaws and all. What makes me, me,” the Food Network star continued.

Bertinelli addressed his followers, encouraging them to consider coping mechanisms or unhealthy habits, such as overeating or drinking, that they might have developed over time and that “can prevent us from opening our hearts fully.”

“I think we've created a really lovely community here and I love it when everyone talks to each other. The latest post is a great example of everyone sharing their experience. It's been inspiring. When we work together and share our stories, we can help each other. Let's keep inspiring each other,” she concluded.

The revamped Instagram page comes nearly three months after Bertinelli said he was planning a break from social media.

“The last six weeks have been… A LOT,” she wrote in a post she later deleted. “And while I am incredibly grateful for all of your support for my book and all of the people I've been lucky enough to meet, this introvert masquerading as an extrovert needs a mental health break.”

“Take care of yourselves,” he added. “I'll be back before you know it.”

Prior to the breakup announcement, Bertinelli confirmed she had a new boyfriend, Mike Goodnough, in March.

“It's unlike any relationship I've ever experienced with a man,” she told USA Today in March, before explaining that she “didn't expect” to be in a relationship again following her divorce from Tom Vitale.

In the comments on her recent post about her sobriety, Goodnough wrote: “Funny how we both decided to stop drinking by accident just weeks before we met.”
