Vanessa Hudgens has called out paparazzi for invading her family's privacy as they left the hospital after she gave birth.
In her Instagram story, the 35-year-old woman High School Musical The alum slammed the photographers for posting photos that revealed she had just given birth to her first child, adding that they had violated her family's privacy as soon as they set foot outside the hospital. She wrote: “We are disappointed that our family's privacy has been disrespected and exploited during this very special time due to the greed of a long lens camera feeding the media.”
However, the actress noted that her family was happy with the arrival of their latest member, concluding her post: “Despite all that, mom, dad and baby are happy and healthy.”
TMZ was the first to report that Hudgens' baby had been delivered, posting photos of the actress, her husband Cole Tucker and their newborn son leaving the hospital.

The red carpet confirmation came amid Hudgens' pregnancy rumors dating back to October 2023. The newborn is not only the actress’ first baby but also the actress’ first child with husband, Colorado Rockies baseball player Cole Tucker, whom she married in December 2023 in a ceremony with 100 of their friends and family in Tulum, Mexico. She met Tucker through a Zoom meditation seminar hosted by Joe Jonas during the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. Later that year in November, the couple was spotted holding hands, and the following year, they made their relationship official on social media.
“I have a girlfriend and she’s great. “I always thought I would get married at 25 because that’s when my mom got married, and when that didn’t happen, I was like, ‘Okay, then we’re going to push everything back a little bit,’” she told the outlet. “I always thought around 36, 37 is when I would want to have kids, and that still matters. I don’t panic.”
