Today, the newlyweds shared a couple of pictures from their sangeet night looking like a dream in an outfit put together by Falguni Shane Peacock and Shantnu & Nikhil.
Rakul's outfit was a vision of beauty and elegance as she walked hand in hand to her sangeet night, looking stunning in a creation designed by renowned couturiers Falguni and Shane Peacock.
Rakul Preet Singh dazzled in a stunning off-white and silver lehenga, replete with intricate light gold embroidery on a beige base. The ensemble was enhanced with Swarovski stones, crystals, sequins, beads and silver acrylic flowers, each with pearl tassel details.
She paired the ethereal lehenga with a handmade blouse and tan beige cape, created with tulle and embellished with floral details.
Talking about Rakul and designing for her, designer Falguni Peacock says, “Rakul is a beautiful woman, both inside and out! I remember very well our first meeting a couple of years ago and being impressed by her presence and personality. When it came time to design her sangeet ensemble, we knew it had to reflect her personality in a chic and elegant way.”
Describing Rakul's opulent piece, Falguni adds, “We opted for numerous pearls and pearl tassels to add flair to the ensemble and make it look absolutely glamorous and elegant. And to infuse our signature dramatic touch, we added a long sparkly trail to the lehenga. She really was a star in her own Sangeet!
While Rakul opted for a pastel color palette, Jackky opted for a contrasting jewel tone. Jackky Bhagnani's outfit was a spectacle of sophistication and charm as she took to the stage in an elegant Shantnu & Nikhil ensemble.
Shantnu and Nikhil wanted the outfit to embody the spirit of modern royalty that Jackky exudes. Jackky accessorized in a Swarovski embellished teal tuxedo jacket paired with Shantnu & Nikhil's signature draped double-breasted shirt.
