The world of Nita Mukesh Ambani is a celebration of Indian craftsmanship and artisans. Every outfit she has worn during the wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant has been an ode to India and its craftsmanship.

Her undying love and support for Indian crafts and artisans was highlighted through a series of photographs uploaded on Instagram by renowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra. Nita Mukesh Ambani embodied grace and royalty in the serene antique gold ensemble designed by Manish Malhotra.

Custom made Manish Malhotra antique gold set is embroidered with timeless zardosi and antique zari work.

The antique gold ensemble was inspired by the classic Hyderabadi kurta paired with the iconic khada dupatta (double drape). Enhancing Indian heritage through his luxurious and luminous pieces, Manish celebrated traditional textiles and embroidery and beautifully wove them together to form this majestic gold ensemble. The enchanting ensemble was enhanced with antique zari and timeless zardosi embroidery.

The highlight of this opulent and majestic traditional design was the intricate silver and gold border crafted using the chatai technique by skilled artisans. From the draping to the silhouette, every element of this bespoke design exudes grace, elegance and royalty.

Her captivating aura was captured gracefully through the magical lens of photographer Jatin Kampani. Nita Mukesh Ambani’s regal charm was enhanced by minimal yet flawless makeup done by celebrity makeup artist Mickey Contractor. Her soft, cascading wavy hair was elegantly styled by celebrity hairstylist Ritika Kadam. Nita Mukesh Ambani sported intricately designed chandbali earrings and a maang tika, which accentuated her ethereal look.

Manish Malhotra’s designs have been at the centre of all Ambani celebrations and Nita Mukesh Ambani has always shown her appreciation for his extraordinary craftsmanship through statement pieces. One of the looks from the wedding festivities that stood out was the traditional ivory lehenga, embellished with multicoloured zardosi embroidery. Complemented by a Banarasi fabric dupatta with distinguished zari borders and a traditional blouse inspired by Meenakari kundan jewellery.

Each classic ensemble designed by Manish Malhotra for Nita Mukesh Ambani has been an extension of her elegant and graceful personality.
