A mysterious finned creature has been spotted swimming in the River Thames in west London.
Charlotte Webb was walking near Hammersmith Bridge on Monday (July 22) when she witnessed the unusual sight in the water.
At first he thought it was a bean bag, but then it turned out to be a fin.
“It looked to be around 5 feet 10 inches long, which makes it a head shark based on the comments,” Webb said.
The Thames Estuary is known to be home to at least five different species of shark, including the critically endangered dogfish shark, according to ZSL London Zoo.
