Hina Khan shows no signs of slowing down her work amidst her battle with breast cancer. The actress consistently shows up for her professional commitments and leaves her fans in awe of her strength and resilience. Recently, Hina Khan stepped out at an event in a dazzling pink salwar kurta set. She embraced her Kashmiri roots in the intricately embroidered ensemble.
The actress opted for a pink salwar kurta set for her recent appearance at an event. The custom-made pink suit had intricate handwork in golden tilla all over it. Embroidery adorned the neckline, bodice, hem and even the sleeves of the kurta. The sleeves of the kurta were loose and gave the overall look a relaxed feel. She paired this long-sleeved Kashmiri kurta with a matching embroidered salwar and net dupatta. The ensemble was by Tul Palav.
The salwar was cleverly designed to have a loose fit that complemented the flowing sleeves of the kurta. She upped the glam quotient of the look by keeping her makeup simple and letting her hot pink kurta do the talking. She opted for kohled eyes, lashes coated with mascara, blush and highlighter. She topped off the look with glossy lips and left her hair loose. She styled them in loose waves. She also kept the accessories minimal. The actress opted for just a pair of gold earrings and rings.
Sharing the video of her look on her Instagram story, she recalled her Kashmiri roots. She wrote, “This was my first interaction with the media and I really enjoyed wearing the essence of my birthplace. This exquisite traditional Kashmiri attire with custom ‘tilla’ work, crafted especially for me by @tul_palav, made me feel right at home.”
The actress recently walked the runway as the star of a fashion show. She dressed up as a bride and looked stunning. Khan was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. She rose to fame when she starred in her debut serial, Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, in 2009.
