Gwyneth Paltrow reveals her daughter Apple Martin's unique hobby


Gwyneth Paltrow paid tribute to her daughter on her 20th birthday by divulging her unexpected interest.

On May 14, the Goop founder took to Instagram to honor Apple Martin, her daughter with ex-husband Chris Martin, and shared something most people probably wouldn't guess about the young celebrity. Along with a carousel of photos, old and new, Paltrow wrote a touching message to her little girl.

“Happy 20th birthday! How can you be 20 today? It feels surreal! You are the most extraordinary, the most hilarious, the most brilliant,” the 51-year-old actress wrote.

“I love your ideas about World War II as much as your physical comedy,” he added, revealing an unforeseen interest on Apple's part. “You are so much fun to be around and always have been. From those days when it was always you and me until now, you are my little ride or die. You are everything to me and I am very proud of you. Have the best day, my peanut.”

Apple sweetly responded, “I love you so much.”

Paltrow shares Apple and her 18-year-old son Moses with Chris. The former A-list couple met backstage at one of Chris' Coldplay concerts in 2002. About a year later, Paltrow and Chris announced they were expecting their first child together before uniting in a secret wedding in Santa Barbara. The two eventually separated in 2014 and finalized their divorce in 2015.
