The dress code for the luminous night of song, dance and wonder was majestic Indian glamour, and the lovely couple exuded royalty in their Indian attires. Celebrity fashion stylist Shaleena Nathani dressed Anant Ambani in a classic bandhgala with intricate floral embroidery. The couturiers exuded regal splendor with a midnight blue bandhgala, divinely embroidered like a Persian garden, and added a touch of gold to the zari, kasab and sequin embroidery. This masterpiece is especially unique because all the material used in the zari embroidery is real gold.
The highlight of this exclusive Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla handicraft was the way the embroidery, done in real gold, complemented the groom-to-be. Anant completed his Indian couture ensemble with an animal-themed brooch, in keeping with his love for his company, Vantara.
An epitome of grace and elegance, Radhika Merchant looked mesmerizing in the sparkling lehenga ensemble designed by couturiers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. Styled by celebrity fashion stylist Rhea Kapoor, the outfit was inspired by a chandelier and featured an array of pastel colours. The off-shoulder crystal-encrusted blouse and multi-paneled lehenga skirt were covered in sparkling Swarovski crystals. Light as air, the fabric skirt in a feast of pastel hues was hand-embroidered with dazzling Swarovski crystals. She completed her look with a green embellished dupatta. Like a sky full of stars, Radhika glowed as she posed with Anant during the media photoshoot ahead of her sangeet ceremony.
Couture czars Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla once again celebrated Indian craftsmanship and its artisans through celebratory pieces by Anant and Radhika.
The couple waved to the paparazzi present at the event and also took a couple of photos with the photographers present, making this a memorable night.
