Euphoria Filming for season 3 could be delayed after it was announced that it would begin filming in 2025.

According to a source with knowledge of Life and style“The January 2025 date that the team proposed was simply a result of determining when all the actors could meet again.”

“It’s a ‘best case scenario’ date that doesn’t take into account a lot of potential obstacles,” they continued.

Revealing what the reason for this delay could be, the source shared that “there will be demands on Zendaya's time if she is in the running for Best Actress this year for her work in Challengers.”

They also mentioned: “The same could be said of Zendaya’s beloved co-star and on-screen mentor Colman Domingo, who is expected to be campaigning for his role in Sing Sing in the 24/25 awards race.”

Speaking about the show's scripts, the source noted that “they're taking a long time” and also added that “just because there are deadlines in the fall for them to be finished doesn't mean there's any guarantee that they'll be ready by then.”

“There is still a lot up in the air and the one constant is that no matter what happens, HBO wants the series back and is being much more patient with it than with some of its other shows and creators. I would be very surprised if cameras actually started rolling next January!” they said before concluding.
