Travis Kelce wasn't always confident in front of the camera

At a pre-Super Bowl press conference, Travis Kelce was asked about his media-savvy personality. He attributed it to his mother, Donna Kelce.

Before admitting that he was “shy” as a teenager, the NFL quarterback told reporters that his mother frequently made videos of their home that made him feel comfortable in front of the camera.

“My mom's home videos, man. Have that camera with me at all times,” she hilariously revealed. “Seeing what nonsense I'm going to do next.”

The 34-year-old explained: “Honestly, I've always felt comfortable in the rooms I've been in and I've been lucky that, I don't know, I've been able to look at a camera a little bit with ease, I guess.”

“I don't know, I guess it's just having fun.” “Giving more credit to sports is where I built my confidence.”

He continued, “You won't believe it, but I was a shy kid growing up, until I got to the sports field, or the court, or the ice rink.”

He noted: “And then I let my personality show a little more because I was having fun, I was having success.

“And that just pushed me to be confident in life.”
