Ryan Reynolds shared a funny story about how he was sued by Taylor Swift.
While promoting his upcoming film, Deadpool and Wolverine, Speaking to SiriusXM City Hall, Reynolds was questioned about whether he had to ask Swift's permission before using her cats in Deadpool 2.
In the film, Reynolds' character, Wade Wilson, wore a T-shirt that displayed the Lover The hitmaker's cats, Meredith and Olivia.
“Yes, I made myself a t-shirt. Yes, of [Swift’s cats] Meredith and Olivia on Wade's shirt. Yeah, you know, just little details, that's all,” Reynolds said.
The interviewer asked, “Now, when you put her cats on a T-shirt, did you have to call her and ask her permission?”
He YEAH The star hilariously responded: “No, I got sued. I lost everything on that one.”
“And for a friend to sue her is hard to accept. Plus, she has a lot of very, very powerful lawyers. I later found out that those were just the paralegals. The real lawyers didn't even bother,” he added.
