For this year’s Summer Olympics in Paris, NBC has hired rapper and media personality Snoop Dogg to cover the games as a special reporter starting July 26.
In reaction to the new role, the Young, wild and free The rapper said: “I grew up watching the Olympics and I’m excited to see the incredible athletes bring their A-game to Paris.”
He added: “It’s a celebration of skill, dedication and the pursuit of greatness. We’ll have some incredible competitions and of course I’ll bring that Snoop style to the mix.”
