Shakira has just revealed how she tries to set an example for her children since she became a single mother after her breakup with Gerard Piqué.
In exclusive conversation with Rolling Stone for their July/August cover story, the Try everything The singer spoke about her strategies as a mother to her two children, Sasha, nine, and Milan, 11.
“When we are mothers, we never slow down,” Shakira told the outlet, adding, “We can continue working, but our commitment as mothers is non-negotiable.”
She continued: “Sometimes achieving balance is difficult, isn't it? How much time do you dedicate to yourself, to your work, to the children? But the children always come first and what consumes us the most.”
