Serena Williams talks about the joy of being a mother of two daughters.
The tennis champion, who shares daughters Olympia and Adira with her husband Alexis Ohanian, says the youngest is a
very similar to her.
“Olympia was a lonely girl,” Williams, 43, tells PEOPLE.
“She was our star. And I'm so obsessed with Olympia. Even when I was pregnant, I thought, 'How is it possible that I love someone as much as Olimpia?' It just doesn't work.' ”
William's, who welcomed Adira in 2023, adds: “It's so funny how, I don't know, your heart gets bigger. “I thought my heart got bigger.”
“Olympia is a very difficult act to follow, but I'll tell you what, Adira has followed it and it's crazy,” Williams tells the outlet.
“She is incredible. I can't wait for people to see how amazing it is in its own way. And she is so special and so tough. She's just a tough cookie. And she reminds me a lot of me in that way.”
