Selena Gomez is calling out trolls who are attacking her after revealing she is unable to have children due to medical conditions.

Speaking candidly at the Women in Film event, the Only murders in the building The actress said: “I really think there's power in being vulnerable and telling people when you need help and when you want help.”

“That's not shameful. Yes, I told you I can't have children. Yes, I told you I have bipolar disorder. How embarrassing! That's my life.”

This happened after she spoke about her inner truth in an interview with Vanity Fair.

“I've never said it, but unfortunately I can't bear my own children,” she said. “I have a lot of medical issues that would put my life and the baby's life at risk. It was something I had to regret for a while.”

As for her medical condition, Selena faced lupus in 2013 and then received a kidney transplant in 2017. Three years later, she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, the medication for which she said could affect her chances of having a baby.
