Ruth Langsford prepares for a “fierce” divorce

Ruth Langsford may not forgive her ex-husband, Eamonn Holmes.

The famed TV host has reportedly hired a rather “fierce” divorce lawyer to negotiate a settlement with Holmes.

According to The sunIt is Catherine Costley who has been hired by the Loose Women presenter to deal with the affairs of a 14-year marriage that is coming to an end.

Divorce lawyer Costley was apprenticed to Baroness Fiona Shackleton, Britain's most high-profile divorce lawyer, who represented Charles in his separation from Diana in 1996.

Baroness Shackleton, known as Steel Magnolia, has also worked with top stars such as Paul McCartney, Liam Gallagher and Madonna.

In May, it was reported that Langsford and Holmes were going through divorce proceedings after work obligations “took their marriage in different directions.”

“Ruth Langsford and Eamon Holmes have confirmed that their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing,” a spokesperson for the couple said.

Langsford and Holmes, who married in 2010 and have now decided to split after 14 years together, are still “determined to remain friends and keep things amicable,” the rep said.
