Prince William's alleged mistress Rose Hanbury is deeply upset by resurfaced rumors about her affair with the Prince of Wales.
Stephen Colbert repeated the speculation after William's wife Kate Middleton posed for the now infamous Mother's Day photo without her wedding ring.
Since then, the internet has been abuzz with rumors that William is still having an affair with the Marchioness of Cholmondeley and at the same time there is speculation that something has happened to Kate, who has not been seen in public since Christmas.
Reacting to the strange speculation, royal expert Nick Bullen said us weekly, “I know people who know the Marchioness of Cholmondeley very, very well, and she was not at all having an affair with the Prince of Wales.”
“Even when those rumors surfaced a few years ago, she was very upset by them. She is still very upset about them,” she added.
In 2019, William was reported to have cheated on Kate Middleton when reports emerged of a dispute between the Princess of Wales and Rose.
Kensington Palace never commented on the romance speculation and the rumors died down. However, conspiracy theories about Kate's whereabouts gave new life to the alleged scandal.
Calling the rumors “garbage,” the expert said infidelity “goes against everything” Prince William stands for, considering his firsthand observation of his parents, King Charles III and the late Princess Diana, who endured publicized extramarital affairs.
“He saw the damage that affairs can cause,” Bullen said. “What they say to me [is]“It’s just not in his psyche.”
Additionally, Hanbury also denied having an affair with the Prince of Wales through her lawyers, stating that the speculation is “completely false.”
