Pauly Shore recently praised comedian Robbin Williams.

In a new chat with People MagazinePauly paid tribute to Robbin, sharing: “The kid was special.”

He also commented: “His improvisational skills combined with the stand-up comedy were next level. He would literally walk on stage, take someone's drink and then do 10 minutes of acting. When Robin was doing his thing, everyone would gather in the back to watch.”

The 56-year-old also recalled his time with the popular comedian saying: “My mother's office for The Comedy Store was in the house, and Robin used to come pick up her $25 check or whatever.”

“I remember I was in the middle of filming Mork & Mindy and he was still wearing his suit, and then we'd start messing around. He was always the same guy on set and off set. Very playful and easy-going,” he continued, noting, “Robin was none of that, he already had his own style, he came from San Francisco.”

“It was the late 70s, when she was in the middle of her career development and her fame skyrocketed shortly after. You knew what was going to happen to him when you saw him. You could tell he was destined to make movies,” he concluded.
