Queen Elizabeth II was remembered as an 'incredible mimic' in a touching confession

A royal photographer fondly remembers Queen Elizabeth II on her second death anniversary:

The former monarch, who died at an advanced age at Balmoral Castle, lives in Arthur Edwards' heart thanks to her infectious smile.

He told The Sun: “Sunday will be remembered for that sad day of September 8, 2022, when the 96-year-old monarch passed away at her beloved Balmoral after a 70-year reign.”

“This summer, the royal family has been holidaying at the Scottish estate, as Elizabeth has done throughout her life. It was there that I took some of my favourite photographs of her, laughing and clearly enjoying herself,” he added.

“Two years later, I still miss that smile that lit up the room and her great sense of humour. She was a great mimic, although I don’t think she imitated my cockney accent. If she did, I never heard it.”

She then notes: “What has surprised me in the two years since our Queen left is how popular Charles has become.”
