Prince Harry's visa application could soon become public, which is said to worry him and his wife Meghan Markle.
The Heritage Foundation has demanded that Harry's US visa application be made public to see if he checked “yes” or “no” to the question about drug use. Applicants are supposed to be honest and check “yes” even if they have used drugs in the past.
Prince Harry revealed his drug abuse in his 2023 memoir Spare, prompting the foundation to claim that by doing so he waived his right to privacy.
According to royal expert Tom Quinn, this must be giving the Sussexes sleepless nights. “Harry could be in big trouble with this Visa problem,” he told the US Daily Express
He added: “He is so used to living in a world where the normal rules do not apply to him because he is a member of the royal family, that when he wrote his book it would not have occurred to him that the revelations about drug-taking could have any implication for your status in the United States.”
“We won't know until the judge makes some kind of decision, but Harry and Meghan will have sleepless nights over this.”
Quinn also assumed that the Duke of Sussex must “assume that everything happened so long ago that it is irrelevant except from a historical point of view.”
He then warned that since “it is a matter of serious public interest”, it is very likely that the “publication of his original Visa application will be allowed, especially if it shows that Harry did not check the box that says he had used drugs in the past.” . “.
