The rift between Prince William and Prince Harry has taken a new turn and money has become a source of tension between the brothers.
The 40th Duke of Sussex is set to receive nearly $9 million left to him by his late great-grandmother, the Queen Mother.
According to the latest report from In touch weekly, The Prince of Wales believes that Harry, the Duke of Sussex, does not deserve to inherit, given his criticism of the monarchy.
“Somehow the idea of Harry leaving with so much money seems wrong to William,” a source close to the situation told the publication.
They added: “In William's view, Harry has done nothing to deserve it and has caused nothing but trouble and distress to the Royal Family since moving to the United States.”
William has yet to get over the betrayal he felt after Harry and Meghan Markle attacked him, his wife Kate Middleton and the royal family in their interviews, the Netflix docuseries and Duke Spare's memoir.
“William holds a grudge over every slight and insult,” the source said.
