During the interview, he began by pointing out how “in three years the Sussexes could have resolved their dispute with the Royal Family and could have made multiple trips to the United Kingdom.”
“There is also the possibility that the situation between the Sussexes and the royal family remains as frosty as it is now and Meghan’s absence from the UK continues.”
However, “if the latter scenario does occur in 2027, then the Duchess of Sussex will have to decide whether cutting ties with the UK is worth supporting Prince Harry at an event that is of great importance to him.”
In short, “there is still a long way to go before the Invictus Games land in Birmingham, but there is also a huge gap that will take time to mend between the Sussexes and the Royal Family,” he added before signing off.
