Prince Harry receives disappointing news from the UK

Prince Harry reportedly received disappointing news from the United Kingdom days after his return to Britain for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.

Archie and Lilibet, his doting father, and other high-profile figures failed on Tuesday in their bid to include direct claims against Rupert Murdoch in his illegal information-gathering case against his UK publishing arm.

The Prince is among a dozen plaintiffs taking NGN editors to court over allegations that they were repeatedly attacked by journalists and private investigators.

Superior Court Judge Timothy Fancourt ruled last month that the lawsuit against the publisher of Murdoch's British tabloid can move on to a possible trial next year.

The judge said he had “refused permission for new allegations against Rupert Murdoch personally and certain other senior executives, on the basis that they add nothing to the allegations already made against other senior executives of NGN and its parent companies.”

The case is one of several Harry has brought against UK newspaper editors.

NGN has denied the allegations, calling them “defamatory and cynical.”
