Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's daughter Princess Lilibet celebrated her third birthday today with a star-studded party that was absent from members of the Royal Family.
Lilibet's party reportedly featured celebrities including Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, whose daughter Daisy is a few months older than Lilibet.
Royal expert Tom Quinn claims Prince Harry didn't invite his family because he knew they wouldn't attend. What saddens the Duke of Sussex is that Prince William's children, George Charlotte and Louis, were unable to attend the party.
Tom said Mirror: “One of Harry's old army friends said: 'Harry knew they weren't coming anyway and he was pretty sure he wouldn't have wanted them there. But he's really sad because Archie and Lilibet can't have any kind of relationship with their friends.' cousins while his feud with his family continues.'”
Detailing the party, he said: “Instead of going to a low-key celebration, Harry and Meghan spent last weekend enjoying a party ahead of their daughter Lillibet's third birthday; hugely expensive gifts were ruled out, but the couple's mansion California was inundated with celebrities like Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom and their daughter Daisy, who is only a few months older than Lilibet.”
She then shared: “Surprisingly, no invitations to Lilibet's party were sent to members of the Royal Family.”
Despite not being invited, King Charles sent Lilibet a gift along with a message.
Tom said: “King Charles had no intention of completely ignoring Lilibet's birthday, so he sent a gift along with a message.”
She added: “She gave Prince George a beautiful handmade wooden swing with George's name engraved on it and plans to give something similar to Lilibet, but not this year. And not unless and until the family feud ends.”
