Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are royals who only care about publicity, an expert says.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who are set to accept a sporting award for Harry, have been branded as having “issues”.
Royal expert Hugo Vickers told The Sun: “What worries me is that this is more publicity for Prince Harry.
“I think those two have a problem.” [Harry and Meghan].
“They've told their story, I don't know how they can continue telling it, and in the end I imagine people will probably get bored of it.
The expert added: “The difference between what they are [Harry and Meghan] doing and what the British Royal Family is doing: The British Royal Family is working for the nation, the Commonwealth, and Harry and Meghan appear to be working for themselves.
“And that's always unattractive, I think,” he said.
Prince Harry left the royal family in 2020 along with his wife Meghan Markle and their son, Prince Archie. The couple subsequently accused the royal family of displaying racism towards their son and publicly shared their grievances on television. Harry and Meghan now live in California, where they also welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet.
