Prince Andrew is 'excited' to see his interview about the gaffe on the big screen


Prince Andrew is reportedly excited to see a representation of himself on the big screen.

The Duke of York's life story will be told by actor Michael Sheen in the upcoming Amazon MGM Studios series. The series revolves around Andrew's infamous BBC Newsnight interview with Emily Maitlis.

This comes as Prince Andrew is asked to disappear from the scene before his association with sex offender Jeffrey Epstein is exposed.

The Duke of York, who has been stripped of his titles amid allegations he sexually assaulted US citizen Virginia Giuffre during his teenage years, has been told to stay away from further scrutiny.

Royal expert Robert Jobson told The Sun's Matt Wilkinson: “He doesn't really want to leave, but there will come a time when he will be exposed.”

“In the end it seems that the best thing for him is to disappear.

“Let's not forget that the Epstein story is an absolute disaster for the royal family.
