Former Good morning Great Britain Presenter Piers Morgan has revealed a big secret about Queen Elizabeth II as the outspoken journalist paid a moving tribute to the late monarch on the second anniversary of her death.
Taking to his Twitter account, X, Morgan shared an old photo of himself with Queen Elizabeth and tweeted: “Two years ago today, Britain lost its greatest monarch and a wonderful lady. Rest in peace Queen Elizabeth II.”
Commenting on it, one fan said: “She didn't care about you. You were laughing so hard, why did she look away?”
Piers Morgan responded and revealed a big secret, saying: “I was laughing at your joke…
“I asked Her Majesty if she enjoyed hosting parties in the gardens of Buckingham Palace and she replied: 'Well, Mr Morgan, how would you like it if 12,000 complete strangers trampled through YOUR gardens?'”
Queen Elizabeth II passed away peacefully at the age of 96, after a 70-year reign, on 8 September 2022.
She ruled longer than any other monarch in British history, becoming a much-loved and respected figure around the world.
