Charlene McKenna revealed she secretly welcomed her first child with husband Adam Rothenberg.
During an interview at RTE Radio 1The 40-year-old actress told host Kay Sheehy she was busy with “a new production” and “a beautiful production” of her own.
McKenna revealed that she welcomed a daughter named Martha Josephine in March 2024.
She said in the interview: “I think it's an incredibly special, moving and beautiful production, if I do say so myself.”
Sharing some insight into her life as a first-time mother, McKenna said: “I had a little baby so I've been kind of off the grid for a long time. I've been in nest mode and enjoying my little girl.”
“She's just, she's very special,” he added.
For those who don't know, McKenna starred in the fifth and sixth seasons of Peaky Blinders Like Laura McKee.
Previously she told him Sun who still lives in fear of losing his job.
McKenna told the outlet: “I still live with existential terror and I fear it will go away. And everyone's like, “Are you taking some time off?” and I take the time to say: “But don't go.”
It is pertinent to mention that the actress and her husband Adam got married in 2021.
