On Friday, the 70-year-old singer took to his Instagram account and shared that he was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor.
“Just before the holidays, it was discovered that I had a brain tumor that required immediate surgery. Thanks to my amazing medical team, the surgery was a success,” she wrote.
Announcing that he will be taking a break, Michael continued: “I am now recovering at home and surrounded by the tremendous love and support of my family. “I will dedicate my time and energy to my recovery, which means I will have to take a temporary break from touring.”
