A royal expert has revealed Meghan Markle's reaction to her falling popularity amid reports that she and Prince Harry have seen a sharp drop in popularity in both the UK and the US in recent years.
He Daily Express UKQuoting the royal expert, it was reported that Archie and Lilibet's doting mother is said to be finding her declining popularity “hard to accept.”
The royal expert also claimed that Prince Harry has a completely different reaction to his falling popularity.
Talking with him MirrorRoyal expert Jennie Bond revealed Meghan and Harry's reactions to their declining popularity, saying: “Fame is often a double-edged sword – one minute you're sitting on a pedestal of adoration and the next you're unroyally knocked off it.”
“I don't think Harry would be too interested in random polls about his popularity… but the media-savvy Meghan might find them harder to accept.”
As for the duke, Jennie said: “I suppose Americans have already become accustomed to the novelty of having a British prince living in their country, and it's inevitable that some of the shine is wearing off. But Harry remains an immensely likeable man, and I'm sure his personality makes him as popular as ever with the people he comes into contact with.”
