Meghan Markle supports her husband Prince Harry's fight to protect his family's safety in the UK, but wishes he could “put his demands to one side.”
According to the latest reports, the Duchess of Sussex wants Harry to “live in the moment” and be “free” from his ongoing legal battles.
Talking with People Magazine, A former Archewell Foundation employee has revealed that Meghan wants the Duke of Sussex not to be burdened by legal battles.
Harry lost his police protection when he stepped down as a senior royal working alongside Meghan in 2020 to live in the United States.
The Ravec committee, which decides on the security of royals, VIPs and high-ranking public figures, later said he did not qualify for the same protection as before, so he was offered a different plan.
But the father of two was not happy with the plan and went to court to fight for better protection for himself, his wife and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
The source told the magazine that Meghan “supports Harry 100 percent, but she wishes he could just put these demands aside, be happy and live in the moment.”
“She wants him to be free from all this, but she also knows that because of everything he's been through and his love for her, [her and their children]can't,” they added.
“She wants him to live in a world where he doesn’t have to bear this burden.”
