Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig's plan to 'avenge' the Oscar snub revealed

Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig plan to make the best of their Barbie Oscar snub.

Experts have shared an interesting update a month after the hit film was left out of key Oscar nominations.

Not just fans, Barbie Actor Ryan Gosling also criticized the Academy for leaving Greta and Margot out of the nominations for Best Director and Best Actress in a Leading Role, respectively.

“There is no Ken without Barbie, and there is no Barbie film without Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie,” he said in a statement to PEOPLE.

A source now said daily mail that the actor-director duo plans to channel their anger into making a sequel.

“Many fans want a sequel and Greta, Margot and Ryan have talked about the possibility ad nauseum, but it would have to be a perfect idea,” they said.

The informant added: “With this first one they caught lightning in a bottle in such a way that it is going to be a huge task to exploit that well once again. They know they can do it; “They just want to do well if they return to the world of Barbie.”

According to the insider, Margot and Greta are taking the snubs as “a badge of honor” and plan to make the sequel “even better.”
