King Charles willing to reconcile with Prince Harry if two conditions are met

King Charles willing to reconcile with Prince Harry if two conditions are met

King Charles has reportedly left the door open for a possible return of Prince Harry.

Royal expert Jennie Bond revealed that King Charles has two conditions that Prince Harry must meet before reconciliation can happen.

Jennie said OK! that Charles, who is battling cancer, has not completely closed the door to his son Harry.

“Charles has always been a softie. He's quite a strong character, but his bark is much worse than his bite and all sorts of things (especially music) can make him cry,” says Jennie, adding: “I don't think he's ever shut the door on his 'dear boy'.”

Despite the tension between Charles and Harry, visible since the Duke of Sussex's departure from royal duties in 2020, and fuelled by revelations he made in his book Spare, the royal expert's suggestion is not as harsh as it seems.

Charles is reportedly keen to mend his relationship with Prince Harry, but he's hoping for two key things.

Jennie suggests that she will “expect Harry to acknowledge the harm he has caused to the entire family,” and adds as a second condition that she does not want Harry “to make any special demands if he comes back to visit.”

The Duke of Sussex last visited his father King Charles in February, marking a brief return to the UK.
