King Charles and Prince William surprise with their decision to attend Harry's Invictus Games in the UK

King Charles and Prince William have made a surprise decision to attend the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham, UK, Prince Harry has announced.

According to a recent report, the monarch and the Prince of Wales are likely to attend the event and support the Duke of Sussex, who will celebrate his attendance at the event without Meghan Markle.

The news was shared by former royal butler Grant Harrold, who claimed that members of the royal family would love to be there for Harry at the key event.

Her statement hints at a possible reconciliation between Prince William and Prince Harry after years of feud.

In a conversation with SlingHarrold revealed whether King Charles and William put their egos behind them to support Harry in his noble cause.

“Coming home to watch the Games here will mean a lot to him,” she said of Harry, before adding: “Family members will definitely support him in this.”

“Just like in the UK, it will be nice to think that his father and brother will be attending, and it's certainly possible that they will,” Harrold said.

He said Harry was still proud of his roots and may be feeling homesick. “I think Harry will want to spend more time in the UK,” he said.

“I’ve heard that he may be looking for a house too, which doesn’t surprise me. His whole life has been based in the UK for so many years, and to up and leave there is simply impossible. There may be a part of him that resents him for leaving and abandoning his home.

“He will also know what has been going on with his father, his sister-in-law and also his friends. Part of him probably thinks that because of this he will need to maintain his contacts in the UK.”
