Kate Middleton shared an emotional video update on her cancer treatment and expressed her gratitude for the support she received.
Analyzing the video, body language expert Judi James highlighted the deep love between the Princess of Wales and her husband, Prince William, as well as “funny moments” with their children.
She said The mirror that the video posted by the cancer-stricken princess is “one of the most emotionally revealing glimpses” of the royal family.
Judi noted that the Waleses have finally “fully and completely” shared the “deep depth of their love” for each other through the touching video, in which Kate announced her return to royal duties.
“There are a few isolated moments where we see Kate in a reflective mood, standing alone in a forest with her eyes closed as he tilts his head towards the setting sun,” Judi added.
“The message she conveys here seems to be similar to other moments of her illness, where we have seen her sitting alone in front of the camera or posing next to a tree. This supports her message of living one day at a time in a calm, quiet and reflective manner.”
James noted Kate's “adoring and reassuring” gestures toward William, and the confident and playful behavior of their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
“But the majority of this video shows Kate not only surrounded by love and care, but also offering it,” he added.
“When she and William sit or lie on a blanket on the floor, she puts her arm around his shoulder or lifts her head while he leans in to kiss her cheek.
“Kate snuggles up to William in a gesture of total adoration and he takes both of her hands and strokes them in a gesture of reassurance, but there are moments when, in his shorts and sandals, he looks like a larger version of George hugging Kate while she kisses his head.”
